I'm pretty sucky at html myself, but I think if you go to the part in your theme that says div id="description" and add the img src="img" there, it should show up towards the right, as that's where the description area is.
RSS of an image? What happens when she uploads new pics? I tried what I said earlier in the div description, and it worked, except you might want to rescale the image, it looked kinda big on mine.

Just upload the image, isn't it that easy. Put it on flickr and feed the RSS to tumblr :-P
