just watched your older video, you sound nothing like i thought you would, which isn't to say that's a bad thing. but be careful, me + females with english accents = dangerous.
i'm sure people in the UK know the suttle differences, but as an outsider you all sound the same. no offense. sort of like you telling me i sound "american" when i can tell you from the experiance of driving across the country, twice, is not taking into account the huge variety of accents and forms of annunciation.
i should be around, changed my mind about going home mostly due to my filming tutor leaving in september. so i'll be sporting my english accent around london unless the job hunt goes really bad..
i work with scripts, budgets, camera work and acting. all the compressing etc business i get done for me.. mostly

If you really want to play with it and choose the method, Final Cut (Pro, don't know about Express) have a deinterlace filter (Effects -> Video Filters -> Video -> De-interlace).
