Gel masks are great :) I used to live with one on my head (I
used to get a migraine most Sundays. They were so bad and regular,
I even cut out beer in my effort to try and work out why I was
getting them)
i have no idea where they came from. never had them before ever.
not much change of life style recently, it's just been last moth
and past week almost every day..
You should get that checked out Anna, CAT scan or something make
sure it's not a symptom. Sudden onset of migraines like that for a
sustained period isn't right. I've had them on and off all my life.
Take care of yourself. I agree about the Hitler/Nixon thing I have
to say. Not quite in the same league
my friend dominic made a list of potential reasons of my
headaches earlier this evening, which is actually very funny. it
includes Goldsmiths, too much beer and not enough beer. i'm
thinking maybe it's the sleeping pills.. hhhhrh don't want to do to
the doctor's though. i hate it

neck too... Getting nerves in a bind can give you horrible
headaches (or of course, the classic "not using specs when in need"
;))
Speaking about specs, I remember this guy from a past workplace
that refused to wear his astronomer-like glasses, so he went around
all day squinting like a mole surfacing on a beach + that he
complained about "terrible headaches" at the end of the day...
well....DUH?! :-P
i wear contacts and id die of headache if i didn't. plus i'd be
almost blind. actually, i got this exercises to do for when my arm
muscles hurt but bones in my neck make very bizarre noises when i
do it indeed :) thanks for the clue
Those crackling sounds might be a clue indeed
:P I was sitting in a draft the other day, and my neck was stiff as
a board, and had a buzzing headache that wouldn't give in... So,
yeah... I guess the neck is a prime suspect...
but my neck is always stiff, same with arm muscles (apparently
that's where all my tensions go), only started to loosen up a bit
recently *the exercises) why the hell does my head hurt
now?! :) and eyes, even more than the head... the nerve of
them!
Hmm I still think the headache is probably an indicator or
something. I know you hate doctors, I do too, you know my opinion
but it really would be worth looking into. If you're eyes are sore
then that will often cause a headache I reckon maybe it's something
simple, an eye irritation. Take care! :)
heat in this heat will be a killer. but thanks, i will, whatever
helps without the necessity of head shot... not that i think my
head is any precious, but i'd like to pay my studies off first

Anna, a cold or hot compress usually helps me. Those fridge gel eye mask things are good - plus you get to pretend you're a super hero ;)

Mine happened when I had less stress! So always got better for me to go to work... but F*cked up my weekends! A job change sorted my headaches out :)

Nah, but put on some heat on your neck and for a long duration.. Hot towels will do fine :)

@dantheman is right; have a doc take a peek at you as soon as you are able to get away. It will probably be nothing, but one can never know.

@overpills Just put it on your neck, don't wrap your entire body - even if it might be a fun idea on a theoretical stage! (haha)
Regarding paying for the studies; Why not study -> graduate, and then do the "head shot" as a last "up yours"? :-P (Yikes, morbid humour there)
